Coxwell Disaster Services Director, Robert “Chip” Patterson, brings world-class experience in preparedness and programmatic activities to your organization. All activities are designed to help you stand strong before, during and after a disaster.
John B. (J.B.) Coxwell Chairman of the Board, John B. (J.B.) Coxwell, is of J.B. Coxwell Contracting, Inc. He founded the organization in 1983 and, as president, was responsible for the oversight of all projects, as well as general management of the company. J.B. has served as the principal-in-charge on numerous post disaster recovery contracts. Long considered a leader in the community, J.B. serves on many professional boards and groups, including the Florida Department of Transportation Henry Fuller Task Team, Florida Department of Transportation Disputes Review Board and Floridians for Better Transportation Executive Committee. He is a former board member of the Jacksonville Electric Authority (JEA), the Utility Contractors Association (UCA) and the Florida Transportation Builders Association (FTBA), where he is past chairman and now serves on the executive committee.
Robert “Chip” Patterson DirectorDirector, Coxwell Disaster Services Chip Patterson has served in leadership positions at the strategic and tactical levels to develop and lead crisis response organizations. He served as a director in government organizations that brought about changes to improve emergency management and homeland security processes, and was involved in the evaluation of disaster systems of two countries. Chip led the team that achieved recognition as the first local government disaster preparedness program in the U.S. to be accredited by the Emergency Management Accreditation Program (EMAP). He served as the Incident Management Team Lead for numerous disasters, and in 2005 was named Florida’s Emergency Manager of the Year. Chip has an undergraduate degree in Sociology and a Masters in Business Administration. |
